The campsite offers a relaxed family atmosphere, but there
is plenty to do. There is an impressive heated indoor pool
with jacuzzi and sauna, a large outdoor pool with 3 water
slides and a bar terrace overlooking the pool complex
.
For the more energetic, there is a well equipped gym.
The site also runs a childrens club free for kids aged 6 or
over. The childrens club will run 5 mornings a week from
July to the end of August. Children also have a large
sandy play area with slides, climbing frames etc.
There is a new multi sports area at the back of the site.
The excellent sandy beaches are ideal for sunbathing,
swimming, windsurfing & sailing.
The area provides opportunities for walking, cycling, or
just taking a picnic to the nearby Olonne pine forest. The
forest approx 1000 metres from the campsite, has well
defined footpaths, mountain bike trails, and is known for
its river fishing.
The Vendee area
is also well known as having the most sunshine on the
Western Coast of France.

A friendly site, Le Chaponnet is in a rural setting, about
25 minutes walk away, or a few minutes drive from spectacular sandy beaches
with free parking.The site is set at
one end of the village of Brem, which has approx 2000
inhabitants. This picturesque site is
well-tended, with masses of flowers around the site, and the
site owners, Pascal and Sylvie are justifiably proud of what
they and their staff have achieved. Five minutes walk from
the site entrance is a supermarket, bakery, butcher's,
tobacconist, paper shop, post office etc. There are twice weekly markets
here.
Ideal for families with young children.
Brem itself is equal distances from the town and port of St Gilles
Croix de Vie and the large holiday resort of Sables D'Olonne,
and each is about 15 minutes drive from the site. There are
bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
The site has a
large bar, a restaurant which serves excellent and good value meals, a
pizzeria, take away and entertainment is provided in high
season with concerts, karaoke, shows game nights etc.
All
our homes on this site are cottage style mobile homes with
either 2 or 3 bedrooms, and all have wooden decking
floor area outside with garden furniture, parasol, and sun loungers. Some
of the homes have verandas for a small additional charge. All of our emplacements are seperated by
hedges to offer some degree of privacy, and most offer some
shade.
